Back to School
As you heave a sigh of relief, waving your little ones off to school again, “What am I going to do with that extra bit of free time I have now?” you may ask yourself.
If you’re not careful, those seemingly long hours can easily disappear with things like coffee with friends, catching up on the neglected housework and, even (dare I say it) Christmas shopping!
If you want to use your free time wisely and put some of it towards getting fit, or fitter, you just need to get yourself organised and plan ahead.
- How much of a change to your lifestyle do you want to make?
- How many times a week do you want to exercise. What’s realistic?
- What type of exercise is best for me? Taking into consideration my age, my current fitness level and my fitness goals.
Take some time to think about what you want to achieve, and what is realistic for you? Don’t just fall into the first fitness class you see advertised, or go along with the latest fitness fad. Consider your options carefully so that the fitness regime you choose is one that you enjoy and that you can maintain.
